The Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department (CTVFD) is excited to once again participate in the Chatham Borough 4th of July parade beginning at 10:30 a.m.,and to help celebrate the history and traditions of the United States. Marching in parades has been a longtime tradition in the fire service. It gives the public the opportunity to see members in their dress uniforms and the Department’s favorite apparatus. Kids in particular love to see the fire trucks up close. Chief Matthew Lemons stated, “We also hope it inspires people to learn more about the department and consider joining. It is truly a rewarding and meaningful way to serve the community.”
The Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department is always looking for driven and dedicated men and women to become part of our family. All training and equipment is provided. If you would like more information about joining, please email membership@ctfd.org.
