Please join us in congratulating two of our members, Firefighters Jake Almgren and Richard Gentles, for successfully completing the Water Rescue Operations training provided by Rescue Products International, Inc. Jake and Richard join CTVFD’s existing water operations rescue team that are trained for water emergencies, dynamics of moving water, medical conditions, personal safety and fundamental rescue techniques (self and shore based rescue). The CTVFD wants to thank the instructions from Rescue Products International for the excellent training and the Mt. Bethel Fire Department for hosting the classroom portion of the training program.
